Prof. Dr. Mirjam van Reisen is a Professor of FAIR Data Science at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). Before that, she was a professor of Computing for Society at the Leiden Institute for Advanced Computer Science (LIACS). Mirjam van Reisen is also a Professor of International Relations, Innovation, and Care at Tilburg University.
As a professor of Data Science, she wants to close the gap between medical research and the accessibility of data in order to broaden access to appropriate care.
