On 04 August 2020, VODAN Africa installed the second COVID-19 Computer-Readable FAIR Data point of Observational Data was installed by Data Science Nigeria

On 11 August 2020, the third COVID-19 FAIR Data Point was installed at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL) Nigeria

On 18 August 2020, the fourth COVID-19 FAIR Data Point was installed at the Mekelle University and Addis Ababa University, both in Ethiopia

On Tuesday September 22nd, 2020, the VODAN African team in Kenya led by Dr. Reginald Nalugala did a successful demonstration of their capability to make COVID-19 data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR).
